Miss Shannon's Dance Stream

Well done to our Extension Contemporary Team on their strong characterisation and commitment in the final competition of the year. We’ve loved bringing a second genre into our performance program and we are so proud of the team spirit which has emerged in this cohort. The main goal of the MSDS performance program is developing dancers who are diligent, committed, respectful, and supportive team players. As this team warmed up in the dressing room last night, all of these qualities were evident to me. Both Abbie Rose Levy and Paige Devlin | 25 | Sydney voluntarily gave up their Saturday evening to come and support our team at this competition. They genuinely care about these dancers and, in a world where connection is increasingly becoming transactional, the rarity of this is not lost on me. I love our MSDS community, we’re all so fortunate to be in each other’s orbit. 💫💗💫

Congratulations to our Season 6 JJPT for another amazing performance CARNIVAL DANCE CHALLENGE . This was our final competition for the year and we are so proud of the energy, precision and performance this little team has brought to the stage. We look forward to doing it all again in Season 7! 🙌💗💫🎶 A huge thank you to Miss Tanna for all her support and encouragement throughout the season, and for being the most amazing support teacher at all our competitions this year.

Well done to our SJPT on receiving a STAR PERFORMER AWARD for their final competition of Season 6! ⭐️ Once again, you held your own in a strong jazz section. A huge thank you to Miss Paige for giving this team a magnificent routine and an impressive trajectory of growth. The level of attack you are bringing to the stage as a result of Season 6 is incredible! 💥

Another amazing result for our JJPT at PLATINUM DANCE COMPETITION today! Our team received 2nd Place and performed with style and precision on a very large stage! ✨💫✨

Along with our 2nd place we took home the OUTSTANDING CHOREOGRAPHY AWARD for the entire 10 and Under session. I’m super proud of the girls for making this choreography shine and honouring my creative offering. I’m also quietly chuffed as I have admired the adjudicator’s Chris Haines Choreography slick routines and creative vision for many years. 😊

Our Royal Academy of Dance ballet examination results have arrived and, once again, we are incredibly proud of our dancer’s achievements!

🩰Our entire Primary ballet class received HIGH DISTINCTIONS!

🩰 As a studio, we received a very healthy DISTINCTION average 🙌

🩰 Every single GRADE student received 10/10 for syllabus recall

This is the term where magic happens🪄. Our concert routines are well under way. Costumes are starting to arrive. Our Season 7 performance teams start learning their NEW routines! 🙌 🔥

Let’s dance away the remaining weeks of winter. We are excited to see everyone back in class this week. ☺️
