Most people don’t know that I experienced birth trauma when Arly was born, which resulted in a long recovery after birth and a period where I was largely on bed rest.

Those early weeks of motherhood were a lot.

Missta became one of those little things that genuinely made life easier.

As a first time mum, I remember how much I second guessed everything, including whether I had Arly’s bottle temperature right. Missta took that guesswork away.

Its built in temperature indicator tells you when the water is too cold, too hot or ready to go, and for me that meant being able to keep it beside the bed for feeds rather than constantly getting up during a recovery when even that could feel like a lot.

It’s been a daily staple in our home since Arly was born, my little feeding bestie and, quite frankly, the closest I was getting to a night nanny.

And one of my favourite things about building Mama Société has been not only falling in love with beautiful products, but also getting to know the people behind them.
