Across a remarkable 30-year career spanning more than 100 film and television productions, he has shared the screen with legends including Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Chuck Norris, Keanu Reeves (twice), Van Damme, Hugh Jackman, Charlize Theron, John Cena and many more.

It is with much sadness that the Australian Jow Ga Kung Fu Academy announces the passing of Dai Si Hing Jeremy Nysen who succumbed to a long illness last Wednesday 25th June. Jeremy was the longest continuously serving member of our school starting as a teenager in the mid 1980s. A direct Disciple of Si Gung Randy Sullivan Bennett, Jeremy was one of our Senior Instructors; a mentor to many and a friend to all. The Australian Jow Ga Kung Fu Academy was lucky to have Jeremy who gave so much of his life to our school. We send our deepest condolences to Jeremy’s family and invite all who knew Jeremy to visit our school, share memories, and pay their respects at our shrine

Our October grading saw the dedicated George and Barnaby perform their Forms and techniques with precision and skill and our incredible Sifu .callaghan.5870 compete at the 10th international Kung Fu competition representing Jow Ga.

Kick it
Designed for all skill levels, this 10 week training plan focuses on ensuring you have a comprehensive knowledge and solid technique about kicks.

This course aims to improve your mobility in kicking, make complex kicks easy to understand/ perform and improve your performance of kicks for use in performance , theatre or film and television.

Brayden Rodrigues will be teaching.
9-11am Fridays
It’s a drop in class $25 per week
Will be held at Jow Ga Kung Fu Surry Hills
But it is a progressional so the more you attend the better it will be for you.

Tuesday and Thursday classes this week will be run by Sifu John Callaghan. Fresh back from the annual Jow Ga banquet in Hong Kong.

Chinese Double daggers:
For the month of APRIL we will be focusing on dagger techniques and form applications. The form should always be practiced and performed with the correct intent and mindfulness which can only come from understanding the practice application.
