✨Deep Presence✨

How often do you create the time to be fully present with a loved one? When was the last time you looked into each others’ eyes for longer than a few moments?
 
No distractions, nothing asked of you, simply time together to be. A way to explore how you communicate beyond words.
 
This couples experience is an opportunity for you and your partner to enjoy dedicated space and time, with movement and connection.
 
You will be led through a variety of activities, taking it in turns to give and receive a floor-based massage.

Expect:
- Partner Yoga
- Connection Activities
- Guided Zenthai Shiatsu Massage 
 

You’ll be guided through every step of the way, no experience required. This workshop is designed for pairs, so bring a partner or friend to share the experience with.

Traditional Hatha Yoga is ancient and intelligent. A complete and comprehensive system that balances and stabilises the body’s energy channels.

If you’ve found yourself in a Hatha class, especially if you’re used to more modern Yoga styles, you’ll notice it feels different.

Instead of offering constant, fluid movement, there is an emphasis on creating stability in the body and mind.

You might notice thoughts emerge.

Maybe frustrations; “I don’t want to stay in this shape”, “this feels slow and boring”, “I need to sweat and get my heart rate up”.

When we hold a challenging asana, we get to meet that voice of the mind. We allow these stories to emerge and float to the surface, so we can dissolve them within the safety of the mat.

This is why we practice.

It’s not to look a particular way, or hit a fitness goal. It is to purge the mind of those niggling persistent thoughts. To remind the voice that it is not in control. Though it can be confronting to meet those thoughts, so notice them as they emerge.

If you’re new to Hatha, welcome. It is quite unlike any other practice 🧡

Using props such as therapy balls, blocks and straps with gentle, sustained pressure, you’ll learn how to work with your fascia to ease tightness, reduce discomfort, and enhance overall body awareness.

This practice is suitable for all levels and especially beneficial for those experiencing stress, stiffness, or chronic tension.

Flourish: The Neuroscience of Yoga

Saturday August 1, 5pm
With Sophia Pacynko

This 90min workshop explores the current neuroscience yoga, breath and meditation. We’ll look at the modern science behind why and how yoga, breathwork and meditation change the brain and body, and how these practices support human flourishing.

Facilitated by Sophia, who not only takes us through amazing classes each week, she is also currently studying a Masters in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at King’s College London.

Yoga Nidra: The Art of Conscious Rest
