2026 Commonwealth Games NSW Athlete Grant Winners

Commonwealth Games NSW is proud to announce the 2026 recipients of the CGNSW Athlete Grant Program.

Each recipient will be awarded $1,000. CGNSW CEO Peter Tate said “These young athletes have demonstrated tremendous ability in their respective sport pathways and we’re hopeful many will be selected to represent Australia at future Commonwealth Games”.

This is the 8th edition of the CGNSW Athlete Grants which commenced in 2016. There are now 248 recipients over that period. Nominating criteria requires each athlete to be a resident of NSW and under 20 years of age.

Judo NSW congratulates both Brigitte De Luca and Archie Simmonds as worthy recipients of this grant for 2026!

A Coach Accreditation (CAF) Practical Course will be held next Sunday 28th June at UTS Judo Club.

Space is limited to 10 participants for this session.
