Little League Girls Sportsmanship Award: Hills 🎉

A special award was handed out yesterday 🥹

At the conclusion of the Little League Girls and Invitational Tournament, the umpires felt the need to call out two individuals they saw across the week who consistently demonstrated incredible sportsmanship, teamwork and spirit for the game.

This doesn’t always happen, so the umpires all signed a ball and presented it to the players.

They are:
- Maia Voinea, Hills
- Jackson Caton, Sunshine Coast

The Manly Little Leaguer was excellent in the Invitational Championship Game.

Oli threw 5.0 shutout innings, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out six. He also co-led the team with two hits.
