SJJA Sippy Downs has been named a recipient of Foz & Brooke’s Little Local Legends Fund, proudly supported by Vantage Building Group! 🙌

Yesterday the 91.9 SEA FM team and a rep from Vantage Building Group dropped by the gym to deliver the news in person — what a surprise!

This fund exists to support Sunshine Coast sporting clubs facing the rising costs of grassroots sport, helping keep local kids active, connected and in the game. We couldn’t be more grateful to be part of that.

Huge thanks to Michelle for nominating us — you legend. 💛 And thank you to 91.9 SEA FM and Vantage Building Group for backing local clubs like ours.

One year. It sounds like no time at all and yet look at everything we’ve achieved together.

New belts earned. New friendships forged. New personal bests smashed on and off the mats. None of it would have been possible without one thing: our incredible Community.

From day one, this academy was never just about jiu-jitsu. It was about building something bigger, a place where people show up for each other, push each other, and grow together. And a year in, that’s exactly what we have. We are so, so proud of what we’ve built, together, as a family.

🙌 A massive shout-out to Professor Luan, whose dedication, passion, and vision are the heartbeat of everything we do here. Thank you for believing in this community from the very start.

🙌 And to our assistant coaches thank you for showing up, week after week, pouring your time and energy into every single student. This academy runs on your dedication.
