This is how we assess the foot, ankle and big toe.

Function over guesswork.

Every part gets tested, because that's when the actual issue shows up, not lying on a treatment table.

We treat runners from Parkrun all the way to ultra marathons. We don't tell you to stop running.

Don't wait until it becomes a real problem.
Book in now and get back to training properly.

The great toe is one of the most overlooked joints in a running assessment.

Most niggles comes back to the knee, the hip, sometimes the back.

The big toe rarely gets assessed, but plays a huge role in how force moves through your foot on every single push-off.

When it's missed, so is the actual cause.

That's often how pain keeps returning even after treatment.

We treat runners in the Sunshine Coast from Parkrun all the way to ultra marathons and we don't tell you to stop running.

Can your feet actually do this?

Roll your foot in. Roll it out.

Sounds simple, but for a lot of runners it can feel completely off.

That's usually your foot intrinsics getting lazy and not working as well as they should.

These are the small muscles that control and stabilise your foot with every single step you take on a run.

When they're weak or under-used, your foot stops adapting to the ground properly, and that's often where niggles start creeping in higher up the chain.

Try it yourself.

If one side feels stiff, clumsy or like it's fighting you, that's worth paying attention to.

We're building something for runners who want to actually understand what's going on with their body before it becomes a problem.

More on that soon...

The truth about ITB syndrome, pain on the outside of the knee is that it's not often an issue at the knee...but at the hip.

Most runners try foam rolling, stretching and resting with no real improvement.

It's because they're targeting the wrong area.

Building hip strength and stability is an important step to actually treating ITB pain.
