We still working hard‼️

It was a crappy week of of a chest infection earlier on, definitely rocked me but that doesn’t stop me and wifey from achieving our goals💪💪

If I slack, she slacks🫣😂😂

🙏First week into my new meal and training program, and almost two weeks since I started cleaning up my diet a bit.🥳🥳

Honestly, it’s been great for my mental health knowing I’ve got something to lock into without putting a timeframe or deadline on it. I’m still making sure I prioritise the other important parts of life too, and that balance feels really good.

It’s also nice knowing I can enjoy a G&T or some of the foods I love without the guilt I used to feel when I was deep into serious bodybuilding. It’s honestly been a breath of fresh air.

I haven’t had a donut, junk food, processed meats, or things like Dare iced coffees and sausage rolls for almost two weeks, and I’m feeling bloody good for it.

If you’re in a similar position, my biggest advice would be don’t try to change everything overnight.
Start with a few simple habits you know you can stick to, get yourself moving again, and focus on consistency rather than perfection.

And most importantly, give yourself permission to live your life while you work towards your goals.

One meal, one drink or one missed session isn’t going to undo your progress.

I’m learning that you don’t have to sacrifice living your life to chase your goals.

You can find balance, enjoy the journey, and still work hard towards becoming the best version of yourself.

I’m used to squatting far more weight on the hack machine squat but I refuse to let it deflate and demotivate me as I remember I’m basically starting from scratch again and that’s ok

Now I’m just keen to see and feel these lifts getting stronger again. 💪👌

Let’s go fam‼️

Ok ok here they are🥹Ya’ll can laugh😂
What I used to look like vs what I now look like😂😂
It’s come to a big and somewhat disappointing shock this morning after seeing the photos🤮

I didn’t think I had fallen off the wagon THAT bad until I had seen actual photos of myself compared to looking in a mirror😂😂

Time to work….it’s going to be a great transformation

💪2nd week in a row hitting the gym 3 times!💪

Things are finally starting to pick up again, and I’m loving the feeling.

I’ve also decided to team up with Scott Hipwell, taking on his full programming and monthly training sessions.

I worked with Scott briefly during my last prep and achieved some great results in a short amount of time. His coaching and mentoring is something I’ve always highly respected, so I’m really excited to see what we can do this time around.

The new journey starts tomorrow.

I’ll also be posting my first set of progress photos, and trust me, they’ll show just how badly I’ve fallen off the wagon 😂

But I’m doing it for accountability, and to show you guys the real starting point.

I give you permission to laugh at me tomorrow😂

Because making a comeback for yourself is possible.🔥

Since getting my membership back at The Hut, I’ve been pushing my working sets harder again, and I’ve genuinely missed the drive it gives me.

When I push myself in the gym, I take that same energy into my career, my family and everyday life.

I’m finding my rhythm again, one session at a time.

Let’s see what this comeback(resurgence😉)looks like.

Keep chasing your dreams, fam ❤️‍🔥

If you’re struggling to keep your child motivated with sport, something I’ve learned is tell them they’re going to training rather than asking if they feel like going.

Because let’s be honest, kids aren’t always going to feel motivated when there are a hundred other things they could be doing!

My stepson Roman has ADHD, and I genuinely admire how passionate he can become when he finds something he loves. He can become completely obsessed with it.

But I’ve also noticed a pattern… the boredom often kicks in before he gets the chance to really improve.

“I’ll go tomorrow.”

Then tomorrow comes, and suddenly it’s another day.

I’ll take responsibility because we’ve probably made it too easy in the past by saying, “Yeah, that’s fine, go another time.”

Maybe instead, we need to teach him:

“You’re going today. If you want to improve, you also have to learn to show up when you don’t feel like it.”

Because this lesson goes far beyond sport.

It’s about commitment, discipline and delayed gratification.

It’s not about forcing kids to do something they genuinely hate. It’s about helping them understand the difference between “I don’t enjoy this anymore” and “I just don’t feel like doing this today.”

There’s honestly nothing Hayley and I want more than to see Roman achieve his goals — earn that next stripe, keep progressing and eventually step onto the mat for his first Jiu-Jitsu competition.

I just hope Jiu-Jitsu isn’t another phase.

I don’t expect him to love every session.

I just want him to learn that sometimes, you show up anyway.

Because one day, I hope he looks back and realises the days he didn’t feel like going were often the days that taught him the most. ❤️

Three sessions down. Three consecutive days. 🥳💪

I’ve got night shift tonight, and it could run as late as 5:00am tomorrow morning.

Lately, every time I’ve been rostered onto night shift, I’ve completely written off the idea of training. Going to the gym wasn’t even something I considered.

I’d tell myself I needed to rest so I’d have enough energy for the night ahead. I’d convince myself I didn’t have enough time. I’d even make excuses the day before about why I probably wouldn’t train the next day.

The truth is, they were just excuses.

Today, I broke that habit.

I got the session done before work. I may or may not be a little tired during my shift tonight, who knows?

But one thing I do know is that I’m proud of myself for finally making a change.

Discipline isn’t about waiting until you feel motivated. It’s about doing what needs to be done, even when your mind is trying to talk you out of it.

Excuses won’t work anymore.

Action moves me forward.

Trust me. I don’t look ANYTHING like this anymore..
One thing’s for sure, I.AM. HAPPY. And living my best life without the constant pressure of having to always watch what I’m eating and what I do in my day🥳🥳🥳

Prioritising my life, family, and career at its fullest has been fulfilling. Enjoying every day like it’s my last🙏

I will eventually get myself back into shape again, but it won’t be with the same stress again. Lessons have been learned🥳🥳

Disclaimer: Don’t be fooled, I swore I’d never be one of those fake influencers. These pics are NOT my current shape 😂😂 They’re from about 20 weeks out from my last comp prep.

With my new career in real estate around the corner, I’ve decided it’s time to get back into shape (yep, the attached photos are the new goal). Since my last prep, along the way I started drifting toward a dad bod, courtesy of a little midlife crisis 😆🥹😂

Looking back at these shots, I remember how good I felt in that season. I was happy with my physique, had balance with my nutrition, and if I went off-plan, it didn’t wreck me physically or mentally. Clothes fit just right, not too tight, not too loose.

I also felt my strongest in the gym, and this boosted my mental focus, confidence and self esteem.

Most importantly, my lifestyle felt perfectly balanced. I could focus on my family and career without one sacrificing the other.

That’s the sweet spot I’m chasing again.

Goals matter. They give you purpose, drive, and focus. Without them, you’ll always fall short.

Keep hustling 👊
