Sunshine Coast Grammar was the place to be this weekend as our Mountain Creek Swimming crew put together some outstanding performances! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Luca, Charlotte and Xavier impressed at the Winter Warriors meet, recording some fantastic swims and claiming multiple first-place finishes.

Adding to the celebrations, Luca joined Marlo and Clara in the Grammar Aquathon, where all three secured placings against strong competition.

A fantastic weekend of hard work paying off. Congratulations to all our swimmers for representing the club with such enthusiasm and determination! 💙👏

Congratulations Marlo and Finn, who have been selected on the Queensland School Sport AFL team. They are heading to Canberra next week to compete at the Australian School Sport AFL Championships.

Swimming is an excellent cross-training sport for AFL players, helping to build endurance, strength, fitness and recovery while reducing the impact on joints. The cardiovascular fitness, core strength and discipline developed through swimming provide a great foundation for success on the football field.

Adding to this fantastic achievement, Finn has also been announced as Team Captain, a well-deserved honour and recognition of his leadership both in and out of sport.

We are incredibly proud of Marlo and Finn and wish them all the best as they represent Queensland on the national stage. Go well, Marlo and Finn🏉🏊‍♂️💪👏

What a busy and exciting weekend for our Mountain Creek swimmers!

Several of our athletes proudly represented their Surf Life Saving Clubs at the Queensland Pool Rescue Championships in Bundaberg, while a dedicated group of Makos headed to the Wide Bay Championships to test themselves against strong competition.

Closer to home, we were also proud to host the Australian Deaf Games swimming competition on Friday, welcoming athletes from across the country to our pool.
A fantastic weekend of racing, teamwork and representing our club both near and far. Well done to all involved!
