We’re incredibly excited to announce that the team at Pickld has generously donated a fantastic range of equipment, worth hundreds of dollars, to help us make our Junior Open Day on Sunday, 27 September an amazing experience for our young players! 🙌

A massive thank you to Chris and the team at Pickld for supporting Sunbury Pickleball Club and helping us provide the best possible introduction to pickleball for children who are trying the sport for the first time. 💙

We’ve already had lots of parents registering their children, and we’re looking forward to welcoming even more families on the day!

With wins against Belgium, Nepal and Kenya's forfeit, Australia clinches the top spot in Group F and move onto the Round of 32 of the 2026 Pickleball World Cup.

Australia will now play Singapore in the next game.

We’re excited to invite local families to our very first Junior Open Day these school holidays, and best of all…

💥 IT’S COMPLETELY FREE! 💥

📍 Sunbury Recreation Stadium, 21 - 43 Riddell Rd, Sunbury
👧🧒 Ages 8–17

We’ve packed the afternoon with coaching, games, activities, drills, match play and plenty of fun!

🏓 SESSION 1 | 1:30pm–2:30pm
Designed for children who may benefit from a smaller group and modifications to help them participate comfortably. Numbers are capped to allow our volunteers to provide additional support, so registration is required.

🏓 SESSION 2 | 2:45pm–4:00pm
A fun, energetic session where participants will rotate through games, drills and even some match play. Registration is recommended.

🎁 AND WE’RE GIVING AWAY PADDLES!

The first 32 registered participants across either session will receive a FREE PICKLEBALL PADDLE! 🏓🔥

Plus, registered participants will receive a goody bag to take home!

Whether your child has never touched a pickleball paddle before or is already showing signs of being the next pickleball superstar, this is a fantastic chance to get active, meet new friends, learn some skills and have fun.

❤️ This event has come directly from feedback we’ve received from our families and players. We know many parents have been asking for more opportunities for their kids to get involved, so we’re really excited to finally make it happen!

Pickleball Australia is proud to release the 2027 tournament calendar, developed in collaboration with our state members, affiliates and partners.

Major tournaments and state events are now locked in, with more events to be announced throughout the year.

2026 was a record-breaking year for competition. In 2027, we’re aiming even higher, giving you more chances to climb the Pickleball Australia rankings and your DUPR rating while playing with your community.

More details are coming soon, and additional sanctioned tournaments will be added online in the weeks ahead.

GABE TARDIO IS COMING TO AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺

One of the biggest young stars in pickleball is heading to Brisbane. Gabriel Tardio will take on the PPA Tour Australia Pickleball Cup at QTC, 13–18 October 2026. At just 20, the he’s already the No. 2 ranked man on the PPA Tour, now Brisbane gets to see the hype firsthand.
