🐯 A MESSAGE FROM OUR CLUB PRESIDENT 🐯

As the sun sets on another season of footy, and we look ahead to next weekend’s Grand Finals with both of our U15 teams proudly representing the Tigers, I find myself reflecting on what has been another incredible year for our club.

There have been achievements to celebrate, challenges that have helped us grow, and plenty of learnings that we will carry with us into next season. But above all else, what I feel tonight is an immense sense of gratitude.

A community sporting club simply does not exist without the people who give so much of themselves to make it happen.

To our sponsors, thank you for believing in our club and supporting what we are trying to achieve.

To our committee members, coaches, team staff and volunteers, thank you for the countless hours you contribute, often behind the scenes and without recognition.

To our players, thank you for wearing the Tigers jersey with pride and representing our club each and every week.

And to our parents and families, thank you for the early mornings, late nights, travel, washing jerseys, getting kids to training, supporting from the sidelines and everything else that comes with being part of a rugby league family.

Every single person has played a part in making this season the success it has been.

On a personal level, I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who has supported our club throughout the year. It has been a privilege to serve as your President, and I am incredibly proud of what we continue to build together.

But, our season isn’t quite finished yet!

Next weekend, we have the opportunity to come together one more time and get behind both of our U15 teams as they represent Sunbury on Grand Final day. Let’s fill the sidelines with Tigers colours, Tigers voices and the incredible support our club is known for.

Please join me in thanking everyone who has made this season possible, congratulating all of our teams on their year, and wishing our U15s every success next weekend.

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the sudden passing of a much-loved parent within our rugby league club, and a well-respected man within the community.

Ngalu was a devoted father who supported all of his children in their sporting commitments, no matter their chosen sport. We hold fond memories of Ngalu cheering from the sidelines from the early days at Altona Roosters Rugby League Club, then on to Sunshine Cowboys, and now finishing off here with us at Sunbury United Tigers.

He will be deeply missed by players, parents, and committee members alike.

The club extends its deepest condolences to Ngalu's family. We are standing with you during this tough time.

A huge congratulations to our very own Rosie, who has returned from the School Sport Australia Under 12 Mixed Rugby League Championships in Ballina with a BRONZE MEDAL! 🥉

Rosemary proudly represented Victoria, competing alongside some of the best young rugby league players from across Australia, with the Victorian team finishing an outstanding third overall.

It’s fantastic to see one of our young Tigers representing at this level, and we couldn’t be prouder of Rosemary’s achievement! 🐯🖤🧡

🚨 GROUNDS CLOSED – NO TRAINING TONIGHT 🚨Hume City Council has advised that **all sports grounds are CLOSED for training tonight, Tuesday 11 August, due to the recent rainfall and current ground conditions.

🐯 This means there will be NO Tigers training at Langama Park tonight.

Council has made the decision to protect the playing surfaces from further damage and help ensure grounds remain available for training later in the week and for upcoming matches.

Please help us by staying off the grounds tonight, even if conditions improve throughout the day. We’ll provide any further updates if required.
