What a fantastic evening of bowls, rivalry and spirit last Friday night at Club Sunbury for the 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬! 🔥

A huge congratulations to the 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟎𝐬 with a strong team performance, winning by 20 shots overall to take home this year's trophy! 🏆
Game 1: Over 30s 53–47
Game 2: Over 30s 52–38

While there had to be a winner, the real highlight was seeing our bowls community come together for such a fun and memorable event. From the players on the green to those supporting rink side and tuning in via the live stream, thank you to everyone involved who helped make the night such a success.

We can't wait to do it all again next year and see whether the Over 30s can defend their crown or if the Under 30s can fight back and reclaim the title! 👀🔥

Club Sunbury is seeking an experienced 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 to manage and maintain its two lawn bowling greens to a high standard.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity, with such positions only becoming available on very few occasions. If you’re passionate about turf care and high‑quality playing surfaces, this is a fantastic chance to step into a valued and long‑standing role within our club community.

𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡:
✅ Experience in turf or sports surface maintenance
✅ The ability to deliver high‑quality greens
✅ Their own Public Liability insurance

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞:
Regular mowing & rolling • Turf health management & fertilising • W**d & pest control • Irrigation monitoring (recycled & potable water onsite) • Seasonal renovations & turf repairs • Line marking • General green presentation & upkeep
