🌟Club Person Award🌟

The 2026 club person award went to Jessica Stapleton
Jess has been selected in recognition of the contribution she has made to the club over the past few years – often quietly in the background and without looking for any recognition.
Jess gives up a large part of her Saturdays to coach our junior players, which is a big commitment throughout the season. She is there week after week, helping our younger players develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment of the game.
On top of coaching, Jess also regularly puts her hand up to umpire senior games – which, let’s face it, can be a pretty thankless job at times! It’s another one of those jobs that needs to be done every week, and Jess is always willing to step in and help.
This year, Jess took on even more responsibility by joining the committee and stepping into a community-focused role, adding another way that she contributes to the club both on and off the court.
She is the definition of a quiet achiever. She isn’t flashy, she doesn’t look for praise or attention – she just gets in, gets things done and has a good sense of humour about it all.
Jess, thank you for being a Tiger and your commitment to our club. 🖤💛
