SPORTS TRAINERS WANTED - UNISPORT NATIONALS 2026

UniSport Nationals is coming to Perth!

📅 28 September – 2 October 2026

🏅 30 sports | 5,000+ student-athletes | 7 days of competition

We’re looking for 40+ Sports Trainers each day to join the medical team and gain valuable experience across one of Australia’s largest multisport events.

🏃‍♂️ What’s involved?
As a Sports Trainer, you’ll primarily work as a first responder, assessing and managing injuries and illness during competition, with referrals to higher levels of care when required.

• Exposure to sports including hockey, squash, table tennis & many more

✅ Eligibility:
• Current SMA Level 1 or Level 2 Sports Trainer accreditation
• Current CPR (HLTAID009)
• Current First Aid (HLTAID011)
• Current Working with Children Check

💰 Pay rates:
Level 1 – $35/hour
Level 2 – $40/hour

Our second amazing speaker is Perth Football League trainer Bec Richards. Bec brings a wealth of experience as a trainer and also a Sports Trainer course facilitator. From having teams playing across multiple venues in one weekend, to having to think on her feet and adapt standard injury assessments for players in the WA All Abilities team, there's not much Bec hasn't seen.
