Senior Men’s Season Review 2026

"As President, I couldn’t be prouder of our senior men and everyone involved in our senior football program this season. Strathmore means so much to so many of us. It is more than a football club – it is friendships, families and generations of people who have worn the navy and gold with enormous pride.

To our players, thank you for the commitment, sacrifice and passion you have shown throughout the year. Every time you pull on the Strathmore jumper, you represent everyone who has worn it before you and every young Strathmore player who dreams of wearing it one day.

To our coaches, medical team and everyone is our football department, thank you for the countless hours you put into our players and our club. Your commitment often happens away from the spotlight, but it certainly doesn't go unnoticed. We have a long term philosophy here at Strathmore of teaching our young men what it takes to make the next step up and we will never shy away from that as a club.

To our volunteers, sponsors, members, families and supporters – you are the heartbeat of Strathmore. The love people have for this club is what makes it such a special place.

To our U18 premier and reserve sides, best of luck in your finals campaign this year. Again, we are very lucky that there are a lot of great people coming through this program again in season 2026.

Our young reserves side just missed finals, however the development and growth seen from pre-season day 1 until now has been huge for the future of our club.

To our senior men’s side, good luck for the finals campaign, a lot of hard work is still ahead of us.

Congratulations to all our juniors on a very successful 2026 season and good luck to our senior women this Sunday in the grand final. I hope to see everyone from our junior program throughout the finals series out there supporting our senior boys and girls !
