Games commence Monday 19th October 2025

Game times and dates have been loaded in Basketball Connect, see the link below for instructions on how to view.

Your team to follow will be advised soon, if not already.

Get ready for a fantastic summer basketball season!

Please take a moment to submit your Sports Voucher as soon as possible.

Each eligible child can claim 2 x $100 vouchers per calendar year. Both vouchers can be used with the same provider

2026 vouchers are available to all South Australian children from Reception to Year 9 (this means the child would be born between 2011 to 2021 inclusive)

Please complete this form - ONE for each player you are claiming for.

If you haven't used your voucher for 2026 yet, the summer basketball season is the perfect opportunity to save on your fees and ensure your child doesn't miss a single game.

We're Still Looking for a New Club Secretary

Do you love basketball and want to help keep our club running smoothly behind the scenes?
The Strathalbyn & District Basketball Association is seeking a Club Secretary to join our volunteer committee. This is a key role at the heart of the association, and it's currently vacant.

Our association is proudly run by volunteers, and we're looking for an organised, reliable person who wants to give back to the club and community that has given them so much.
What does the Secretary do?

The Secretary is the communication and record-keeping hub of the committee — managing correspondence, taking and distributing meeting minutes, keeping our records in order, and helping coordinate our meetings. You'll be right across everything that keeps SDBA organised and connected.

Why join the committee?
- Work with a friendly, helpful team with proven processes and procedures behind you, so the role feels manageable and you're well-supported from day one
- Give back to the club you love
- Gain insight into how the association operates behind the scenes
- Help influence the future direction of basketball in our region

🚨 URGENT CALL TO OUR BASKETBALL FAMILY 🚨

The clock has officially run out.

Our deadline to fill crucial club roles has passed, and we are now in a desperate position to keep our club moving forward.

We need passionate, dedicated people to step up immediately for two major positions:

1️⃣ Club Secretary – Our administration wizard to handle emails, minutes, and keep us organized. Job description:

FIBA RULE CHANGES EDUCATIONAL SESSION | REGISTRATIONS - NOW OPEN

With some major important changes coming from 1st October 2026. It's important for all referees, coaches and organisers to understand the changes to the rules.

Run by Australian FIBA Instructor, senior NBL and WNBL referee coach Chris Clarke. Chris has many years of experience in refereeing and refereeing coaching at the highest levels and has helped develop many of the current National League and International referees in Australia and New Zealand.
