TEAM SA | ONE TEAM, ONE SPIRIT!
As our Team SA families begin their journey to Werribee for the Australian Interschool Championship 2026, I want to wish you all safe travels, wonderful riding and, above all, a competition filled with great sportsmanship and team spirit!
Of course, you all have your own goals and dreams for this competition, and I hope you achieve every one of them. But Nationals is about so much more than individual results. It's about TEAM.
Support one another, celebrate each other's successes, pick each other up when things don't go to plan, and remember that how you conduct yourselves is just as important as the results you achieve.
To our naming rights sponsor, Equine Stable Designs, thank you for your generous support and for being part of our Interschool journey this year.
A heartfelt thank you also to Equestrian Victoria Interschool, our hosting state, and everyone working behind the scenes to bring these Championships together. We know just how much goes into an event of this size, and we are so grateful for the opportunity you have created for our young riders.
To ALL the teams travelling from across Australia, we wish you safe journeys, wonderful riding and every success. May this week be filled with new friendships, great memories and the shared love of our horses that brings us all together.
And finally, to our incredible Interschool SA Committee Jaimie Stichel, Caroline Rhodes, Craig Cindy Wissell, Naomi Downer and Collette Wheadon. The work that goes into getting a team of this size to Melbourne is enormous. The hours, the organisation, the problem-solving and the sheer determination to make it all happen have been extraordinary.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. As I prepare to finish my time as Chair, I couldn't be prouder of the team we are sending to Nationals or the people who have helped get us here.
Ride well, look after one another, make wonderful memories and show everyone what Team SA is all about!
WE ARE TEAM SA!
