On a happily overcast day with light rain the Stanthorpe Golfers gathered and enjoyed some very good golf competition. A big thank you to our sponsors for the day, the two ‘Gentlemen Golfers’ Ray Thorn and Terry Roser.

Stanthorpe Ladies Golf Results Wednesday 19 August 2026.

A Single Stableford competition was the event for the lady golfers today.

Linda Kelly is playing beautiful golf and led the field and came in to win with 32 stableford points. Lorraine Evans also played well and was runner up with 29 stableford points.

Mary-Catherine Fletcher "Fletch", who is new to the Stanthorpe Ladies Golf Team, is improving each week she plays. Fletch claimed the pin shots on holes number 12 and 7/16. Linda Kelly was closest to the pin on the 2/11 and Trish Fittock won the pin shot on the 17th.

Stanthorpe Golf Club Report for Saturday 15th August 2026

Golfers are a peculiar sort of people; they love being on the course no matter what.

In fact, this brings a little verse to mind; ‘Whether the weather be fine, or whether the weather be not, we will whether the weather what ever the weather, whether we like it or not.’

And Saturday was no exception. It was tee shirt time … until it was not … but whatever the weather, we loved being there.

We had the sponsorship of the Hendry family on Saturday and this made it a special day for us all as the Hendry Clan is well represented in the Club membership. A big thank you to the Hendry Clan. John (Chook) Hendry gave us a short history of the family’s multi generational
contribution to life on the Granite Belt.

Congratulations to the Lady Golfers, Linda Kelly and Sandra Ellis with run downs to Lisa Stuart and Neta Thouard. Pin Shots to Lynette Ludlow
(x2) and Sandra Ellis (x2).

Congratulations to the Men Golfers. The Competition was broken up into A, B and C Grades.
A Grade winner was Phil Mihulka, and runner up, Matt Waterworth.
B Grade went to John Slack (from Inglewood) and Todd Beckett.
C Grade went to Ron Batterham and Josh Kerr (from Warwick).

Pin Shots went to Matt Waterworth (x3!), Stephen Dobson (from
Tenterfield), Mark Hendry and Brendon Barker.

Next Saturday (22 August) will be sponsored by the two gentlemen golfers, Ray Thorn and Terry Roser.

STANTHORPE GOLF CLUB RESULTS 9/8/2026

Stalwarts of the game fronted up for a second round of golf, over the weekend, on Sunday.

13 pairs fought it out for the Mens and Ladies Foursomes titles as they are coveted trophies.

Sponsor for the event was Alan Walker. The club thanks Alan for his sponsorship, continuing support and valuable input into the club.

Ladies Gross winners were Lynette Ludlow and Lisa Stuart.
Ladies Nett winners were Mandy Benussi and Sandra Ellis.

Mens Overall Gross winners were David Reeves and Mark Hendry.
Mens B Grade Gross went to Eric Ree and Santo Cavallaro.
Mens Best Nett was won by Chook Hendry and Zac Hendry.

Saturday was a brilliant day for Golf.

Congratulations to the Lady Golfers, Lynnette Ludlow played well with 38 Stableford points.

Fittock and Helen Jones. Pins went to Lynnetter Ludlow (x2) and Helen

Congratulations to the Men Golfers, Richard Reardon had a purple patch with 40 Stableford points and Luke Brunckhorst was the Runner Up.

Stanthorpe Ladies Golf Results Wednesday 05 August 2026.

The ladies competed for the Monthly Medal and Putting competition today.

The "Kelly Gang" and Jonesey did it again. Helen Jones came in the winner with 76 nett and Linda Kelly was Runner Up with 79 nett.

Lisa Stuart won the Gross score with 97. Lisa and Helen both tied for the putting competition with 32 putts each.

Pin shots were won by Lisa on the 12th and 2/11th and Lorraine Evans on the 7/16th.

Stanthorpe Golf Results 1st August 2026

John Bylicki from Go Vita was the sponsor for the Day’s play. The Club appreciates John’s support and the members appreciate John and Go Vita very much.

Congratulations to the Ladies; winner Linda Kelly, and runner up Helen Jones. The run downs to Trish Fittock and Nikki Waterworth. Pin shots went to Helen Jones, Nikki Waterworth and Lisa Stuart (x2). The best Putter for the day and also the best gross was Lisa Stuart.

Congratulations to the Men Golfers, winner Chook Hendry and runner up Terry Roser with rundowns to Aaron Simmers, Rino Piovesan, Brent Irwin, Jarrod Irwin, Phil Mihulka and Santo Cavallaro. Pin shots went to Stephen Dobson (x2) (visiting from Tenterfield), Jarrod Irwin, Mark McCosker, Matt Waterworth and Rod Paye. Stephen Dobson also got the best gross (74) and an eagle on the 11th. Best Putting went to Terry Roser, chipping in three times!


Next Saturday (8.8.26) is the Simon Shanon single Stableford event Sunday ( 9/8/26)is the Mens and Ladies Foursomes. A 27 hole event sponsored by Alan Walker starting at 9.30am.

Stanthorpe Ladies Golf Results Wednesday 29 July 2026.

Beautiful weather greeted the Stanthorpe lady golfers today, who competed in a Single Stableford event.

Trish Fittock continues to play excellent golf and came in as the winner today with a very impressive 39 stableford points.

Helen Jones was runner up on a count back from Lisa Stuart with 37 stableford points.

Catherine Fletcher continues to improve and shot a very skilful shot on to the green, into the hole for a birdie shot on hole number 12.

Lorraine Evans won the pin shot on the 2/11th, Helen Jones on the 7/16th and Lisa on the 17th hole.
