The annual Walter Taylor Shield took place yesterday. Thanks to West Toowong Bowls Club for hosting the event.

It was a great day on the greens, a beautiful sunny day and great friendship on display between all players.

St Lucia Bowls Club took out the title and will hold on to the shield for another year.

St Lucia wins the BDBA 2026 Champion of Club Champions - Women's Pairs 🏆

Well done to Suzanne Jordan and Lois Bradley - great game, keeping the supporters on the edge of their seats all the way to the tie break end - winning 18-16.

Congratulations to the team from Ferny Grove, Karen Mateer and Ann Clarke, for an exciting display of good bowling.

St Lucia's women's pairs Club champions are into the final of the Brisbane District Champion of Club Champions event.

We wish them well for tomorrow's final being played at Windsor Bowls Club starting at 8.30am.

St Lucia Men win the BDBA Men's Senior Pennant Division 3.

The final was played at Windsor Bowls Club this morning. Well done to the side from West Toowong for playing so well, challenging the St Lucia team all the way.
