Generally people are scared of falling during their first class. Firstly, I always offer options & modifications so you can stay with the base shape… or come on a little adventure! Maybe you learn to be ok with falling 🤷🏼♀️ cuz all you need to do is get back up again ✌🏼🏄🏼♀️🧘🏼♀️

My practice used to be a lot of this ☝🏼 and lately it’s been a lot more about this 🧘🏼♀️ (I just don’t have any pictures of it 😂)
What my practice looks like from the outside is a bit irrelevant, because it’s really about what’s going on inside. I’m still an anxious person, I still stress myself out over silly things, and I constantly over-think practically everything… but the more I practice the more those moments are balanced with moments of pure clarity, peace and calm. So grateful for this practice and everything it’s brought me.
Happy International Yoga Day ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been on a social media break for awhile, but making a comeback this weekend for a special event.
Teaming up with my colleagues at my office job, we’ve registered for the Roughin It Challenge to support , who work towards ending homelessness in Melbourne. We will show solidarity with people who have nowhere safe to sleep by living with no bed, one bag of belongings and just $10 a day.
The rate of homelessness in Melbourne has been growing. On any given night, over 24,000 Victorians are homeless. Homelessness does not discriminate, it can happen to people from many different walks of life, including families with children, young people, older people, single adults and people with disabilities.
If you can please support via donation (link in my bio). I’ll also be posting over the weekend to share my experience, which you could use to trigger conversations through your friends and family 🙏🏼
