Well done to Kyla Groves, who played (and won) 2x Grandfinals for St Kilda City Football Netball Club this weekend!
Kyla played netball with Team 1 (A2) on Saturday against Dingley, then laced up her boots this morning to take the field alongside our STKC Women’s football team. We would like to congratulate Kyla for her efforts, and what has undoubtedly been a very successful 1st year at St Kilda City!

Shoutout to Team 2 who gave it their all today on court against Port Melbourne Colts, who have been undefeated all season.
The girls went down 27-44, but showed tenacity and grit right until the final whistle!

GRAND FINAL LINEUPS ⭐️

GRAND FINAL day is tomorrow 😍💪

Team 1 is known for its highly skilled, fast and exciting brand of netball on the court, but what makes this team special is the bond within the group off the court. With a mix of club legends and talented new players in the team, and ages ranging from 18 year olds to 30 somethings, the team has blended seamlessly!!

What an achievement for this team to follow up their minor premiership with a Grand Final opportunity. Team 1 has won 15 games this season, with only 1 loss, has scored 845 goals and conceded just 482 goals!!

The team is also celebrating captain Tori’s award for being the competition’s leading scorer 😍

Their grand final opponent is Dingley with the last two outings between the teams being a 5 goal loss in round 8 and a 6 goal win in the semi final. Spectators can look forward to a super exciting grand final🙌

Looking forward to seeing them on court and plenty of support on the sidelines. GO TEAM 1, GO CITY ❤️🤍🖤
