What an inspirational community member! NOT because heโ€™s Vision impaired, but because of how he addresses issues within the community - with an informative & kindness approach ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™Œ This post has helped me be more mindful!

๐Ÿค•Most people think an injured joint needs complete rest.

Sometimes it does need protection - but that doesnโ€™t often mean stopping movement altogether.

Your cartilage (including the cushioning in your knees and spinal discs) doesnโ€™t have its own blood supply. Instead, it relies on gentle compression and release to help move nutrients through the tissue - much like squeezing and releasing a sponge.

Thatโ€™s why the right movement can often be an important part of recovery.

One of my lovely ladies recently injured her knee and was understandably trying to protect it. Together, we found movements that respected her pain while keeping the rest of her body moving.

๐Ÿ’™ If youโ€™re recovering from an injury, donโ€™t assume itโ€™s all or nothing. The goal is often to find what you can do safely while your body heals.

Always follow the advice of your treating health professional, and if youโ€™re unsure, ask what movements are appropriate for your stage of recovery AND Iโ€™m here to help find the right service.

Have you ever heard of the corn challenge? ๐ŸŒฝ๐Ÿ’ฉ

I knowโ€ฆ weโ€™re talking about poo today!

As uncomfortable as it might seem, your bowel habits can give you some valuable clues about your gut health.

This conversation came from the amazing Healthy Hormones ~ Transforming Menopause Care community, co-founded by Dr Ceri Cashell . If youโ€™re interested in learning more, Iโ€™d highly recommend checking out their gut health webinar. Itโ€™s open to everyone and full of practical information.

The challenge is simple:
๐ŸŒฝ Eat some corn.
โฑ๏ธ Keep an eye out for when you see it again.
๐Ÿ“ How long did it take to travel through your digestive system?

Many people assume that if they open their bowels every day, everything is working perfectly. But transit time is just one of the many things that can give you a better understanding of whatโ€™s happening inside your body.

Iโ€™m curiousโ€ฆ whoโ€™s brave enough to give the corn challenge a go? ๐Ÿ˜‚

Drop a ๐ŸŒฝ in the comments if youโ€™re in (no need to tell us your results unless you really want to!).

Let me know if youโ€™d like me to send you the direct link ๐Ÿ”—

Wellโ€ฆ this didnโ€™t go to plan. ๐Ÿ˜…

But maybe thatโ€™s the point.

If something truly matters to us, we donโ€™t just ๐’˜๐’Š๐’”๐’‰ it happens - we adjust, try again, and keep taking the next step.

Failure isnโ€™t the end. Itโ€™s feedback.

Hereโ€™s your reminder (and mine): keep showing up. One step at a time. ๐Ÿ’™

One of my favourite things about running a small business isnโ€™t the awardsโ€ฆ

Itโ€™s the people.

Last night I had the privilege of attending the Local Business Awards alongside some incredibly talented women.

One is a past award winner Western Sydney Dance Act Sing Tumble
One celebrated a win on the night (so well deserved! ๐ŸŽ‰) Christieโ€™s Dog Grooming & Pet Sitting Service
And another was someone new I had the pleasure of meeting ...and a winner ๐Ÿฅณ The Artistry. Lash and Brow Co.

I genuinely love being surrounded by people who back themselves, support others and continue showing up for their communities.

Running a business is demanding, but the business canโ€™t thrive without the person behind it. Looking after yourself isnโ€™t a luxuryโ€”itโ€™s part of the job.

Congratulations to everyone recognised last night, and thank you to my husband for being my biggest supporter (and my plus one โค๏ธ). Hereโ€™s to celebrating each otherโ€™s wins.

๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿง ๐“๐Ž๐ƒ๐€๐˜! (Sunday)

Weโ€™re supporting two great causes in one.

My kids have been busy creating their very own cake and lemonade stall (theyโ€™re so excited to put their entrepreneurial skills to the test! ๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’™), while weโ€™re also giving back to our local community with ๐…๐‘๐„๐„ ๐ฅ๐š๐๐ข๐ž๐ฌโ€™ ๐œ๐ฅ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ .

Drop by anytime between ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐–†๐–’-๐Ÿ:๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐–•๐–’ to grab a cake, cookie or lemonade from the kids, then have a browse through our collection of pre-loved ladiesโ€™ clothing and take home anything youโ€™d likeโ€”completely free.

Weโ€™d love to see you! โ˜€๏ธ 208 Banks Drive

Itโ€™s always exciting to see what can change in just a few consistent weeks. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Many women are surprised when everyday movements start feeling harder.

One day youโ€™re comfortably tying your shoes, reaching the floor or getting up and down with ease. The next, you notice youโ€™re avoiding those movements because they feel stiff, awkward or uncomfortable.

The good news? It doesnโ€™t have to stay that way.

At Train With Me we focus on simple, consistent movement that can help improve:

โœ” Flexibility
โœ” Mobility
โœ” Confidence in everyday activities

You donโ€™t need to be โ€œfitโ€ before you start. You just need to start.

Iโ€™d love to see where this lovely lady is in a few weeksโ€™ time. โค๏ธ
