Goodbye Centenary Pool 1.
Sunday was a special day for our club with the final squad for the Brisbane Crew at Centenary Aquatic Centre as it closes ready for the Olympic rebuild. Coach Dylan retook to the pool deck for an hour of fun, laps and nostalgia. So good to see so many swimmers of the past and present join in with the commemorations.

Here’s a little look back at our last one, when past swimmers Brendan and Greg surprised us with a visit. 🥰

It’s pretty special having a community where swimmers past and present can always come together. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 💙

Centenary Classic 5. This one from a Sunday Squad from January 2020. An amazing morning at an amazing complex that we have built so many memories, experiences and friendships at. It will be very much missed.

Adam showing us how it’s done with the good ol’ cup backstroke drill! 🥤🏊‍♂️

The challenge? Keep a half-full cup perfectly balanced on your forehead while swimming backstroke. It’s a simple little drill that helps improve head position, body alignment and keeping that lovely streamlined position in the water.

And Adam and the whole squad absolutely nailed it — not a drop spilled!

Our Aqualicious Final Swim at Centenary Aquatic Centre is almost here — Sunday, August 30 from 8am!

And we’re going out in true Aqualicious style. 💅🏽

And, of course, the ceremonial taking down of the big Aqualicious banner as we say goodbye to our Centenary home. 🥹🌈

Past and present Aqualicians are all welcome. Come for the swim, stay for the memories, silliness and final farewell. 💦

Woo! We made it to the weekend! Although it’s been a big week it’s always worth it when you get together with mates in a safe space, support each other through the hard times and grow together. We love our Aqualicious community.

More great pics from last weekends Christmas in July Party. It’s not everyday we get a chance to get together that does not involve a pool. Great mates, great food, great times.

Centenary Classic 3. Celebrating our time at Centenary Aquatic Centre & Health Club and it’s gorgeous legacy. This one was a very Merry Christmas from 2018 with the squad enjoying the sun and each-others company during the silly season.

Nothing says Christmas in July like good food, plenty of laughs, and even better company!

It was fantastic to have some of our Brisbane squad make the trip north to Mooloolaba to celebrate with our Sunny Coast crew. Days like these remind us that Aqualicious is about so much more than swimming—it’s about friendships, community, and making memories together, both in and out of the pool.

Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a great afternoon. ❤️🌈
