The 1st Grade boys secured a hard-fought 37–34 victory over the Surfers Dolphins in a thrilling contest. A strong finish and plenty of teamwork proved the difference in a closely fought game. A fantastic team performance and a great result to celebrate. Even better securing the Barry Moon Cup!

The Queensland Barbarians are now accepting Expressions of Interest for their U14 & U16 Girls Representative Teams, and we’d love to see plenty of our Gold Coast Eagles girls put their hands up!

This is an incredible opportunity to represent Queensland, train and compete alongside talented players from clubs across the state, and be part of a unique representative rugby experience.

Successful players will represent the Queensland Barbarians at the 2026 Pacific Youth Rugby Festival at Albany Creek Rugby Union Club from 23–25 October 2026.
