After a few hours walking I got onto a patch after 4pm which saved the day yay! , then I went until the mozzies came out not long after sunset. Looking forward to what I can find with a full day there tomorrow. Got 2.5 grams for nine pieces

A good patch from a few weeks ago ..

2.6 grams yesterday. The biggest one was 1.5 grams. I got them all with the GPX 4500 and 15 Evo round. I found some gold then checked my settings and saw DD on the front switch like WTF I just got gold. Then I went to mono and got some more gold. With target testing there wasn't much difference between mono and DD which was interesting...It's a mono coil.
