At Somersby Eventing, finding the perfect match for our ponies is so important. 🧡

Evie came to us as a project pony, originally bred for dressage, and I have had the privilege of retraining her to become an eventer. Watching her develop and find her new purpose has been incredibly rewarding.

She has now gone to the best home possible — to one of my favourite students and her wonderful family. I truly couldn’t have wished for a more talented, dedicated and passionate kid to take on such a special pony.

I have no doubt these two are going to make the most incredible team, and I can’t wait to watch their journey together and see what the future holds for them.

Go get ’em, girls! 💕🐴

Meet Evie 🧡

My pretty German Riding Pony and one of the most trainable and talented project ponies I have had the pleasure of working with!

Her stallion is Boston Boy, by Hilkens Black Delight, so she is bred for dressage — but this girl can jump too! Smart, willing, athletic and always ready to learn.

I absolutely love this girl and I’m so excited to see what the future holds for her. 🧡

On Sunday, we became dressage divas and went to Singelton dressage for the first time since Dellingr’s colic surgery.

He had his dancing shoes on and tried his little heart out coming 2nd in the Novice 2.2.

Love him. Every ride is a blessing 🤍

Some days are better than others, and today was definitely one of those days that makes your heart smile. ❤️

We headed out for an incredible day of showjumping at Stonewall Equestrian

Kuiper Belt was fantastic, finishing 2nd in the 1.10m and 4th in the 1.20m. This horse gives me his all every ride and I can’t express how much I love him.

Dellingr was equally special and definitely happy to be back for his first official competition after colic surgery finishing 6th in the 90cm.

But what made today even more special was looking around and seeing my little students and their parents cheering me on. It is such a privilege to have these wonderful people in my corner HP JMP INTERIOR DESIGN Emma Jane Wilson ❤️

A huge thank you to the sponsors and organisers for putting together such a fantastic event. It is always such a pleasure to ride here and be part of it.

A great day teaching at Mangrove Pony Club! It was fantastic to work with such a lovely group of riders who showed great effort, positive attitudes, and excellent manners throughout the day. Thank you to everyone for being so welcoming and engaged—it was a pleasure to see everyone improving and having fun.

Wondering how Rose is going? 🌹

She is absolutely loving her new life and doing incredibly well with her new owners. Seeing our horses thrive and shine in their new homes is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Wishing Rose and her wonderful family many more happy memories together!
