We had such a fantastic Come & Try Night / Club Night! It was so lovely seeing our older swimmers getting involved and helping our Learn to Swim kiddos experience a little taste of competitive swimming. 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the night such a success!

🌭 Ray & Shannon – keeping everyone fed on the BBQ
💧 Yumi – making sure everyone stayed hydrated and fed
📸 Jackie – capturing all the fun with some amazing photos
🏊 Coaches Goshi, Kaname & Jay – kept very busy with noodle races, racing and plenty of fun in the pool
👏 Ben – keeping everything running smoothly poolside while also bringing along his very own cheer squad, Poppy & Alfie! 😂💙💛

One of the best parts of the night was watching our littlest swimmers have a go at racing in a fun, relaxed environment. There were lots of smiles, plenty of cheering and every single one of them gave it a red hot go! 🌟

And a special thank you to our older Marlins who jumped in to help, encourage and support the younger swimmers. Seeing our swimmers give back and make the little ones feel welcome is exactly what club nights like this are all about. 💙

We hope our Learn to Swim families had as much fun as we did and that we’ll see plenty of those little faces back again soon!

What a fantastic weekend of racing at our home carnival! There were PBs everywhere, some brilliant results and plenty of Marlin spirit on display. 👏

A massive THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers. Every little bit you do helps make these weekends possible, and it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. Whether you helped for an hour or were there all weekend, we appreciate you. Our volunteers really are worth their weight in gold! 💛

Another fantastic day of racing at the Hancock Prospecting Queensland Short Course Championships saw our Marlins continue to shine! 🌟

We had multiple Top 10 finishes and plenty more PBs, with our swimmers continuing to give it everything they’ve got in the pool. 👏

A special mention to our Club Captain Hugo, who put together a fantastic swim to finish 4th in the 200m Butterfly! An awesome result, Hugo! 💪🔥

Now there’s just ONE more day of racing to go! We’re hoping our athletes can finish the championships strong, achieve a few more of their goals and, most importantly, be proud of everything they’ve accomplished this week.

What an incredible start to the championships in Brisbane! Our Marlins have been producing some fantastic results, with lots of Top 10 finishes and so many PBs already. 💙💛

A huge congratulations to Quinn, who claimed 🥈 2nd place in the 200m Butterfly. What an outstanding achievement to stand on the podium at your very first State Championships! We couldn't be prouder. 👏

A special shout-out also goes to our Head Coach Goshi, who has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare each athlete for their races, calm the nerves, and ensure everyone is ready to perform at their best.

Congratulations to all of our swimmers on a fantastic start to the meet. Keep enjoying the experience, trust your training, and most importantly, have fun!

Another special moment from today's celebrations was presenting our 2026 Queensland State Championship Team with their official State shirts and caps. 💙💛

These swimmers have shown incredible commitment, resilience and determination throughout the season. Countless early mornings, long training sessions and unwavering dedication have earned them the opportunity to compete against Queensland's best.

Receiving their State shirts and caps is a proud milestone and a reflection of all the hard work they've put in to get here.

Congratulations to each and every one of you. The entire Marlin Coast Swimming Club is incredibly proud, and we'll be cheering you on every step of the way. Swim fast, enjoy every moment!

Today was all about celebrating the incredible achievements of our Marlins! 💙💛

We were proud to present our swimmers with their Swimming Australia Pho3nix Junior Excellence (JX) certificates, recognising the hard work and dedication they've shown throughout the season.

The Pho3nix Junior Excellence (JX) Program celebrates the performances of swimmers aged 9–13 years, encouraging and inspiring the next generation of competitive swimmers. Achieving a JX Excellence time is no small feat and is a testament to the commitment these young athletes show every time they dive into the pool.

Congratulations to every one of our JX recipients. Your determination, perseverance and passion for the sport continue to make our club proud. We can't wait to see what you achieve next!
