A massive milestone for Singleton Parkrun with our 12 year anniversary occurring tomorrow.
Our thanks to Grant and Courtenay Robertson and their small group of volunteers for having the foresight, stamina and grit to establish Singleton Parkrun. With support from Singleton Council, Newcastle and Maitland Parkrun and Hunter Medicare Local, we were away.
The inaugural Parkrun in 2014 had an attendance of 222, with that record still standing today.
Massive thank you to our early volunteers and those who continue to support Singleton Parkrun. Arguably, making it one of those must do destinations as our 5 km course meanders along the banks of the mighty Hunter River.
Thank you all and congratulations....

There has been a watch found at Rose Point a couple of weeks ago with the name Bowen...
Could this be Bowen Grosser from Singleton Parkrun? Please message us if this may be your watch, one of our Parkrun regulars has it in safekeeping.

Singleton Parkrun #555
22.08.26
What a beautiful start to the weekend with 91 people choosing to rise early and walk, jog or volunteer. We also had one visitor from Sydney join us today, we hope to see you again.
There were 5 first timers with 15 PB's posted but the bell remained silent. Sometimes hard to determine how sensational you were on the day.
Thank you to this week's volunteers without whom, there is no Parkrun.
Leanne ANDERSON; Zara BOYCE; Michele CLIFTON; Barry CLIFTON; Karen DAVEY; Ian DAVEY; Libby GRESHAM; David SHEARER; Helen SHEARER; Lara SLATER; Lizan VAN NIEKERK
If you are able and available, please check the future roster, there are many spaces to fill to enable Parkrun to occur.
Until next time, keep safe, move and always be kind.....
If you would like any photos removed, please message and that will be done.

Congratulations to our younger park runners today… many PBs were achieved and our youngest parkrunner at only 4 years old shaved 10 minutes off his previous time.. 🎉
Thank you to all participants and volunteers. You will note that token placings after 61 moved up 30 places due to operator error.
We hope you had a great Parkrun and remember, NO PARKRUN next week.
See you on a fortnight.
