Following further consideration, the Committee has determined that the fairest option for all teams is to proceed with Monday 17 August as Round 15 as scheduled.

For Division 2, this fixture will be played as a friendly match, with no competition points awarded.

The revised schedule will be as follows:

Monday 17 August: Round 15-Division 2 friendly/no points
Monday 24 August: Washout replay-Round 5
Monday 31 August: Washout replay-Round 13
Monday 7 September: Finals
Monday 14 September: Preliminary Finals
Saturday 19 September: Grand Final Day

We believe this is the most equitable option and will allow us to keep the competition draw aligned as closely as possible.

Importantly, this schedule avoids a break between the completion of the regular season and the Grand Final. It also allows all remaining fixtures to be played on Mondays, taking into consideration the feedback received that Wednesday evenings are not suitable for the majority of teams.

We understand that changes to the draw can sometimes be difficult, and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding as we work to finalise the season in the fairest way possible.
