Sometimes the weather has other plans.

Due to the weather forecast, this weekend's 51st Vintage Yacht Regatta has been postponed.

We'll announce a new date for the Regatta as soon as it's confirmed.

The Club will still be open as usual this weekend, and we look forward to welcoming competitors, members and visitors for a meal or a drink by the marina.

Thank you to the competitors who were planning to join us this weekend. We look forward to welcoming the fleet back to QCYC soon.

Champagne sailing conditions set the scene for the final race of the Gladstone Ports Corporation Winter Series 2026 on Saturday. The lighter breeze kept crews on their toes, making for an enjoyable and tactical day on the water.

Back at the Club, the drinks were poured, the sailing stories got a little taller and everyone came together for the series presentations.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part throughout the series, and to Scotty and Gav for looking after our race starts. Thanks also to Scotty for coordinating the prizes, and to Jack Morrison, our QCYC Sailing Chair, who somehow managed to be everywhere at once, helping behind the scenes, taking photos and keeping the presentations running as MC.

A special thank you to our sponsors, Gladstone Ports Corporation, Grant Burge Wines and Northside Marine - Life beyond the shore.

Enjoy a few photos from Saturday's racing and presentations.

Congratulations to all competitors! Final series results are available here:

Next up, the Vintage Yacht Regatta! We look forward to welcoming our classic fleet back to QCYC next weekend.
