This photo is of my Uncle Bill Hale on his horse, Lady. This was taken on the Maude St/Fryers St corner outside what was then Stewart's Hardware with Maples in the background, probably in the late 1940s or early 50s. Mum thinks Bill and Lady were probably on their way to or from the horse events at the Shepparton Show. The family would then have been living in Orr Street (next to the Stewarts).

Another undated Wyndham Street postcard, though it could be around the 1957 date of yesterday's. A wealth of vehicles may make it easy for some readers to confirm.

This is the Legion Hall that once stood in High street as it was in 1910 where it appears to be a solicitors rooms.. The second photo is the Legion hall in the 1960's. It had a lovely big room where dances were held, and also the Legion had a badminton club.

I remember watching Six's Super Saturday Club with Peko the Panda and Norris the numbat. There was also a dog character. Do you remember it's name. I have this pic of me sitting on Peko's lap and the dog character sitting beside him. Anyone know the dog character's name?
