Shepparton parkrun

What a ripper morning with 218 people getting out for a few laps around the lake..... lots of new parkrunners today and we love to see new people come along and join us. Today we had 33 people run a PB, lots of our youngsters featuring in the PB list as well (woohoo!!) and we had 17 people new to Shepparton, of whom 11 were new to parkrun itself (welcome superstars!!!). One of our first timers Xavier, has actually attended many parkruns in the past and was actually at the first ever Shepparton parkrun in a pram.... today was his first "official" parkrun. Our Super marshal, Warran, who you will see at "Rabbits corner" completed his 25th Volunteer, while Boston, Ollie, Max and Usara all ran their 10th parkruns this morning. A big day in the scheme of all things parkrun..... See you next week! #

Warmer morning for Parkrun and nearly no breeze!! See you soon!!

Welcome to the weekend!!! Tomorrow is the 22nd, so its "tu tu" (2-2) day....if you feel like dusting off the tutu and bringing it down to parkrun feel free!!! we love seeing them our of the cupboard and having an outing. See you tomorrow at the rotunda in front of SAM for the 7:45 first timers briefing, and 7:55 for the main briefing. Don't forget your barcode.

Guess what this weekend is!!!??!!!

Well done today to all participants and volunteers on a fantastic morning. 207 people walk, jogged or ran about the lake this morning, with 19 achieving a PB. We had a whooping 44 visitors today, (thank you Running Festival!!) and 3 people new to parkrunning participating. Dave completed his first volunteer (thank you Dave!!) and Jai (10), Donna (50), Nick (150), Heather (150), and Sharon (200) all achieved milestones today (contratulations). As usual thank you to all volunteers that helped make today a success. See you next week
