To all the basketball Dads, Step Dads, Pops, Grandpas and Father figures who coach, cheer, encourage, support and sometimes even play defence in the driveway, today is for you!

Thank you for being there for the early morning games, late-night trainings, weekend tournaments, endless car rides, and every high five, pep talk and “keep your eye on the ball!” 😂

Whether you’re on the sidelines, at the scorer’s table, helping at training or shooting hoops alongside them, you’re a huge part of the journey.

2027 REP BASKETBALL – EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
We’re getting ready for the 2027 Shellharbour Bulls Representative Season and we want to hear from players interested in taking their basketball to the next level!

Expressions of Interest are now open for our 2027 Rep Trials across our age groups.

❤️ Girls: We really need a few more girls to put their hands up, particularly in our U12 and U18 age groups.

We’re hoping to field our VERY FIRST U12 GIRLS REPRESENTATIVE TEAM — but we need more girls to make it happen!

🏀 Boys: We’re looking forward to seeing plenty of familiar faces and welcoming new players who are ready for the challenge!

🏀COACHES EOI - 2027 JUNIOR REP SEASON NOW OPEN!

Shellharbour City Basketball Association is calling for passionate volunteers to join our Junior Program Coaching Team for the 2026 season.

We are seeking Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches across:

🏀 U12 • U14 • U16 • U18 - Boys & Girls, Barrengarry and Waratah League teams.

Be part of a holistic player development program focused on:

✅ FUNdamentals ✅ Technical development ✅ Physical development ✅ Psychological & social development ✅ Positive values and life skills

This is more than coaching a team — it’s an opportunity to help build the “Bulls Way” and work within a supportive, collaborative coaching community with opportunities to develop your own coaching skills.

Support the Bulls... one pie at a time!

The PRP Walk Tall Initiative is here to help make basketball accessible for everyone.

This program provides financial support to local children and families who may not otherwise be able to afford to play. Each year, our sponsor PRP Advisers proudly funds assistance for up to three children, helping cover costs such as domestic competition fees, uniforms, development camps, representative fees, and essential gear like balls, shoes, and bags.

Funds are held in trust by the club and allocated as needed throughout the year. Applications can be made confidentially online through our website, and each one is reviewed by the SCBA Executive Board. Successful applicants will be notified directly by the SCBA Executive Board via email.

Families are welcome to reapply each financial year.
