💦 Well done to our 20 swimmers that attended the State SC Relay Championships on Sunday.

We might not have made a podium, but everyone swam their 🩵 out for team mate and team pride. There were some pretty awesome lead off swims for PBs - including Ella becoming our 2nd current 12&U Girl to go sub-31 in 50 Free, Angus for 50 Free, plus Kat, Ella and Angela all for 50 Back in the Medleys. Most teams made significant improvements on their entry times.

It's always fun to see the extra comradery, glitter and coloured zinc of relay meets.

💦 Well done to our small group of competitors who attended the SA State Short Course Prep meet today. It was one last opportunity to fine tune race craft and vie for another QT for SA State SC Championships.

🏊🏻‍♂️ Hudson (13) - 3 PBs, massive improvements of 3.5 & 7s to make State SC QTs in both 50 & 100 Breast
🏊🏻‍♂️ Ryan (13) - 3 PBs, heading to State SC Champs in all four 50m events
🏊🏻‍♂️ Sophie S (14) - 2 PBs, improving 2.5s in the 100 Breast for her 3rd State SC QT, and heartbreakingly close to a 4th
🏊🏻‍♂️ Marley (15) - 3 PBs, heading to State SC Champs in six events

💦 This weekend we had WASC swimmers competing in both the Immanuel Piranhas SC Meet #2 and for their other passion at the Australian Pool Rescue Championships 🛟

At Immanuel our swimmers finished the night with 12 medals and 12 PBs between them 🩵 In the club competition our 3 women finished ranked 7th/15, our 2 men 6th/16 and combined 8th/18.

🏊🏻‍♂️ Corey - 1🥇 1 🥈 3 PBs, improving 2+ seconds in 50Bk & 100Br and first time 50Fly
🏊🏻‍♂️ Ashton - 2🥇 3🥈 4 PBs 🤯
🏊🏻‍♂️ Sophie S - 1 PB well deserved and heartbreakingly close to 2 more
🏊🏻‍♂️ Autumn - 2🥉 3 PBs, hitting a state QT for the W13 100IM and first time sub-40 seconds in 50Br

Always a fun little meet. Always great performances from our Club swimmers. But sadly no raffle wins. Thanks to our small parent contingent (and Uncle Kyle) for playing your part in the equatorial humidity 🥵💦🩵

💦 Today six of our short course season regulars attended the MSC Short Course Carnival at the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre.

🏊🏻‍♂️ Angela swam close to her best all day, with a strong performance in the 100IM scoring a Mystery Skins invite
🏊🏻‍♂️ Eli K had 2 PBs and added the 100Br to his expanding event repertoire, with big sis and injured Breaststroke ace Ari cheering him on
🏊🏻‍♂️ Ryan had a PB and strong 4th in the 11-13M 50Br
🏊🏻‍♂️ Emily had 3 PBs, breaking into the top-10 in the 100Fs
🏊🏻‍♂️ Sophie had 3 PBs and a strong 5th in the 11-13W 100Fly
🏊🏻‍♂️ Meka had 3 PBs and strong 5th, 6th, 7th and 10th places in a huge field of almost forty 11-13W

Well done to our swimmers for the consistent development and improvement they display, week in and week out. Next stop: Immanuel. See you there 🩵💦

💦 It was a triple-decker of meets this weekend for our Western Aquatic swimmers, at Starplex on Saturday, Purruna on Sunday, and not to forget our ladies representing SA at the School Sport 13&O Championship in Melbourne.

⭐ Over in Melbourne, Olive, Marley & Kateirha kicked things off with the opening ceremony parade. Kat was the first to swim, with a 13s long course PB in the 200Bk. We'll be following their progress over the next few days of competition.

💦 It's almost time to dive back into the school books for our swimmers 😱 but seven still took the opportunity to compete at Swimming SA's Winter Waves on the last weekend of the school holidays. Part meet, part game, all party!

Our super seven were oh so close to breaking into the Wavemakers (club points) top-10 and performed admirably in the Impactors (points per swimmers) too 🩵💦
