What a heart stopping game of football we witnessed last night, still in disbelief. Credit to Collingwood for hanging in there and pushing us all the way, but honestly fck thatā¦
Up against it all week.
WE were the better side.
WE deserved the victory.
Could not be more proud of our football club, last night was the absolute epitome of resilience, grit & determination which has been the story of our year.
A game that will go down in Western Bulldogs folklore⦠enjoy it dogs fans. Anything can happenā¦ā¤ļøš¤š

A bit of water has gone under the bridge since our last meeting in round 12 which featured some memorable Sellwood heroics helping us secure victory.
On the night we led for the majority dominating the territory & winning the contest. But a 4th quarter Collingwood comeback took the game to the death.
Under the player spotlight, Bont & Ed put in solid performances by their lofty standards but it was De Goey who got off the leash putting in a mammoth showing.
Daicos accumulated but on average had 10 metres gained per disposal, comparatively Ed averaged 25 metres gained per disposal highlighting the job we did negating Nickās impact.
In the back half of the year both sides have been rejuvenated by youngsters stepping up helping open the doors for a blockbuster wildcard clash come Friday.
How we feeling dogs fans? š¬

BIG INJURY UPDATE š
NAUGHTON by all reports is likely to feature on Friday after an awkward landing on his ankle against the Dees. The 6-day break doesnāt help but a light week on the track should have the big fella in frame for selection.
ENGLISH has made ārapidā progress this week but still needs to pass a fitness text to determine his availability. Tim who was injured against North looks increasingly likely to feature v Collingwood.
LIBERATORE had an arthroscopic procedure on his knee last Saturday with his timeline to be confirmed. Tom is still a chance to play if we progress further into September.
Biiiiiiiiig watch tomorrow during main training. š¤
