Empower is the experts in women’s longevity using functional science backed training to help women in their 40’s and beyond feel strong, confident and in control- now and in the future

A good fitness studio is one of the most important businesses in a local community.

Because we’re not just selling workouts.

For a busy mum, that one hour might be the only hour in her entire day that is hers.

She moves her body. She gets stronger. She talks to other humans. She laughs. She gets out of her own head.

And quite often, she tells us it’s the best part of her day.

But what she’s doing in that hour goes well beyond today.

She’s building muscle and bone. Protecting her cardiovascular and mental health. Building confidence, connection and physical independence for the decades ahead.

So whether it’s Empower or another great studio around the corner, find somewhere you love going and protect that time fiercely.

Your future self needs what you’re building today. 🖤

45 minutes was never the whole picture.

We can coach your training. Help you lift heavier. Move better. Get stronger.

But then you walk out the door.

And there are another 23 hours of decisions that matter.

Am I eating enough protein?
What should I eat today?
What do I order tonight?
Is this actually right for me?

And when you go looking for answers, there’s no shortage of them.

Google. Instagram. Podcasts. Influencers.

The problem? None of them know you.

Your goals. Your training. Your body. Your lifestage. Your life.

We think support should be more personal than that.

So we’ve been building something that takes Empower beyond the studio and into the other 23 hours of your day.

Your 45 minutes with us was just the beginning.

EMPOWER+ is coming 01.09.26 👀

Most people think they’re joining a gym.

They’re not.

They’re joining the place they’ll come after a hard day at work.

The place where they’ll laugh more than they expected.

The place where they meet their new best friends they never knew they needed

The place where they realise they’re stronger than they gave themselves credit for.

We happen to coach strength training and teach reformer…

But what we’re really building is…

Confidence.

Friendships.

Resilience.

And for a lot of women, that’s the difference between exercise becoming another thing they should do… and becoming one of the most important hours of their week.

That’s what Empower has always been about.

Helping them build a life they’re physically, mentally and emotionally strong enough to enjoy.

🖤

Want a quick reality check to see if you’re lifting heavy enough? Try this.

Finish your set.

Put the weights down for 5–10 seconds.

Pick them back up and try one more rep.

If you can keep going for several more reps, you probably weren’t as close to muscular fatigue as you thought.

Because feeling the burn, shaking or finishing a workout exhausted doesn’t necessarily build strength or muscle. Training close enough to muscular failure does.

At Empower, we don’t want you training to failure every set.

Our goal is to finish most sets with 1–3 good reps in reserve.

That’s the sweet spot where you give your muscles enough stimulus to build strength and muscle, while still recovering well enough to train consistently.

So why do this test?

Because it helps calibrate what 1–3 reps in reserve actually feels like.

If you can only grind out one more rep or none at all you know you judged the set well.

If you’re regularly finishing your sets thinking, “I could’ve done another five or more reps,” your muscles probably aren’t getting enough stimulus to adapt.

Comfort doesn’t change your body. The right amount of challenge does.

We spend so much time worrying about what we’re teaching our daughters.

Be kind.
Work hard.
Back yourself.
Don’t let anyone tell you you’re not enough.

But there’s one lesson we often teach without even realising it…

The way we speak about ourselves.

Every time we criticise our stomach.
Delete a gorgeous family photo because we didn’t like the ‘angle’
Or Say “I just need to lose a few kilos”under our breath when looking in the mirror.

They’re listening.

Not because they’re judging us.

Because we’re showing them what being a woman looks like.

The goal isn’t to be a perfect role model. None of us are.

The goal is to let our daughters grow up seeing a woman who respects her body for everything it allows her to do.

A woman who feels strong.
Who takes up space.
Who doesn’t spend every day trying to become smaller.

At Empower, we don’t just help women build stronger bodies.

We help them become the example the next generation is watching.

Because confidence isn’t something our daughters simply hear from us.

It’s something they see. 🖤
