A little update from us 🤍
It’s been a quiet few days over here. I’ve been unwell, and Monty has also been dealing with a nasty hoof abscess, so my attention has very much been at home and at the farm, tending to Monty, keeping him dry and as comfortable as possible, soaking his foot and changing his dressing.
Thankfully, the abscess is draining and he is improving, which is a huge relief. 🐴🤍 He’ll still need monitoring and care over the weekend, so I’m taking things as they come.
I’m slowly getting back into things and will be catching up on messages and enquiries over the next few days.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. 🌿🙏
Peaceful mornings at the farm. 🌿🐴🤍

What if looking after yourself became something you made time for regularly — rather than something you waited to do until you were already running on empty? 🤍
That’s the idea behind the new Equine Essence Memberships. 🌿🐴
A regular opportunity to slow down, step away from the noise, reconnect with nature and spend time with the horses.
With spring just around the corner 🌸, it feels like the perfect time to create a little more space for yourself.
There are two membership options available, and
I’m also opening just 10 Founding Member places for those who get in first, with a special introductory rate. ✨
I’ll be sharing more details over the coming days.
If you’d like to know more, send me a DM with MEMBERSHIP and I’ll send you everything you need to know. 🤍
Call me boring… but this is honestly the kind of life I dream about. 🌿🤍
Fresh country air.
Horses in the paddocks.
Slow mornings.
Golden sunsets.
And a little more time to just… breathe.
Maybe boring isn't so bad after all. 🐴
This is the kind of space I'm creating at Equine Essence. 🤍

Maybe growing up isn't about becoming more.
Maybe it's about coming home to yourself. 🤍
Calm. Happy. Free. Peaceful. 🌿
That's what I'm creating here at Equine Essence.

Sometimes the most powerful way to explain these sessions is through the words of the people who have experienced them..
✨️🤍🙏
Thank you for this beautiful reflection.

When I was five years old, my parents took me to Little Hobby Hills Farm in Gawler.
We wandered through the farm meeting geese, chickens, goats, lambs, rabbits, cats, dogs, donkeys and, finally... the horses.
The moment I saw them, something stirred deep inside me.
Even at five years old, I felt drawn to them in a way I couldn't explain. It felt like I had found a place where I truly belonged.
The farm was run by a remarkable woman named Pip.
She devoted her life to caring for animals, rescuing orphaned lambs, bottle-feeding them and even putting tiny jumpers on them to keep them warm. Her kindness wasn't just something she gave to animals—it touched every person who visited her farm.
I begged my parents to let me start horse riding lessons, and they finally said yes.
Every week, they paid $10 for a lesson that became so much more than learning to ride.
Pip taught me patience, responsibility, resilience, compassion and quiet confidence. She showed me that horses aren't just animals—they're incredible teachers.
Looking back now, I realise she wasn't simply teaching people how to ride. She was teaching us how to slow down, connect, care deeply and be present.
Without realising it, she planted the seed that would one day grow into Equine Essence.
Her influence didn't end when I grew up. It became part of my own family too. When my daughter was born, I gave her the middle name Marie in Pip's honour—a small way of carrying forward the kindness, wisdom and love she shared so freely.
Years later, after my own experiences with life's challenges, I found myself returning to what had always brought me peace—horses and nature.
That's when the vision for Equine Essence became clear.
I wanted to create a place where people could step away from the noise of everyday life.
A place with no pressure.
No judgement.
No expectations.
Just the quiet wisdom of horses, the healing power of nature, and space to simply breathe.
Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, motherhood, grief, or simply longing to reconnect with yourself, my hope is that every session leaves you feeling calmer, lighter and more connected than when you arrived.
Thank you for following along and supporting this little dream of mine. It truly means more than you know.
With gratitude,
Sarah 🤍

Beautiful feedback from Gemma who visited us on the weekend 🙏🤍🦄✨️
On Saturday I spent the morning with Sarah and her beautiful horse Monty and Shetland Pony Bree. Sarah facilitates sessions for you to spend one on one time in nature connecting with her horses.
I love finding new ways of filling my own cup so that I have capacity to hold space for my clients. This was the perfect way to do just that.
From the moment I arrived into the fresh air, sunshine and birdsong my nervous system settled. Sarah introduced me to her beautiful horses and I immediately felt my energy start to ground. I had so many beautiful moments where I could feel Monty regulating my nervous system and helping me to release what was no longer serving me.
Horses don’t just see you... they feel you.
Their greatest gift isn’t their strength, it’s their ability to sense the energy you carry.
Horses are incredibly sensitive animals.
Before you speak, before you touch them, they’re already reading your body language, nervous system, breathing and emotional state.
They don’t judge your emotions.
They simply respond to what’s present.
If you’re anxious, they’ll often reflect it.
If you’re grounded, they’ll usually soften too.
This is why horses can become powerful partners in healing. They invite us to slow down, become present and notice what we’re truly feeling beneath the surface.
During an energy healing session, horses often choose how they want to participate.
Some come close and rest beside you.
Some keep watch from a distance.
Some walk away and that’s information too.
Whether through stillness, gentle curiosity or quiet companionship, they often help us reconnect with ourselves in ways words cannot.
I cannot wait to return to spend time this these beautiful souls 🤍
Thank you
