Exciting News from the Ocean Team!!!

We’re thrilled to announce the Rio 40 Beach Tennis Tournament – the first event of the year kicking off our internal state league!
This is your chance to compete for your school, overcome your tournament fears, and challenge yourself against top-tier opponents.

This time, we’re proud to partner with Rio 40, SVA, Kona, and Shark to make this event even bigger and better.

Join us for three nights and two days filled with sports, delicious Brazilian food, music, drinks, and the opportunity to build friendships and share experiences.

Tournament Dates:
March 28–30 at the North Beach venue.

Schedule:
Friday, 28th: Supertie and Singles (6:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
Saturday, 29th: Women’s and Men’s beginners, intermediate and advance (8:00 AM – 9:00 PM)
Sunday, 30th: Beginners, Intermediate and advance Mixed Levels (8:00 AM – 9:00 PM)

Enrolment Dates:
Starts March16th at North Beach Sports Club from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM or call us.
If you wish to sign up for a personal photo package with our photographer please contact us in advance.

Rules:
You must play in your assigned category (consult with your coach for advice) and encourage to play one level higher to challenge yourself.
Maximum of 6 entries per person.

Price:
First category: $50
Second category: $10
Any additional categories after the second: $5

Choose your partner, start practicing, stay respectful, and enjoy yourself.

We’re excited to invite you to a warm-up tournament this weekend—it’s going to be a blast!
This is a great and last chance to fine-tune your skills before the main event.

Tournament Schedule:
Saturday: Doubles (Male and Female) starting at 10:30 AM
Sunday: Mixed Doubles starting at 9:30 AM

Beginners
Intermediate
Open Level
(minimum of 4 doubles teams required per category)

Location: North Beach Complex,
7 Kitchener St

Costs:
$15.00 for members
$25.00 for non-members

Prize Money: To make things even more exciting, we’re offering $50.00 for each category winner!

To compete: Send us a message on our Instagram Ocean.beachtennis with your partners name and payment is due on the day of the tournament. Please arrive 30min early to make payment, check-in and enrol on the live draw.
