🏆🏆 DOUBLE GOLD at Jells Park
Sandy took both Premier Open relays at XCR Round 2 — Female Open 5×6km and Male Open 6×6km. Six men's legs all under 19:10. Mia Roux led the women's relay with the fastest split of the day.
Also: gold in Male Div 4, silver in Female U18 (two seconds off Box Hill), bronze in Female Div 2. Full results in the member email.
Next up: XCR Round 3 at Ravenswood, Saturday 30 May.

Sandy Aths — our 96th AGM and Awards Night is on Fri 29th May at the Brighton Beach Hotel.

6:30pm for a 7:00pm AGM start, followed by Awards Night.
$30 per head, 2-course meal, raffle, guests welcome.

The 2026 UniSport Nationals were held on 22-24th April at the Gold Coast Performance centre. A number of Sandy athletes represented their universities in a great finish to the summer season!

Congratulations to all our athletes. As well as our medallists, few standouts included:

Charli Sullivan has had a breakout season, not only running PBs but securing 5x World Junior Qualifiers in the 100m Hurdles!!

Charli walks away from the 2025/26 season with some milestone PBs in the sprints & hurdles:
⚡️sub-11s 100m PB - 11.85s
⚡️sub-14s 100H PB - 13.90s
