A world-first milestone for inclusive golf is coming to Australia.

Sandhurst Club is proud to host the inaugural Australian All Abilities Open (AAAO), taking place on our North Course in Melbourne from 11–13 November 2026.

Announced by Golf Australia and the International Golf Federation (IGF), the 54-hole championship will feature 64 athletes competing across all eight IGF sport classes for Men’s and Women’s Open titles and combined sport class honours.

The AAAO will be the first elite-level golf event for athletes with a disability held under the new IGF Classification Rules, developed in alignment with the International Paralympic Committee’s 2025 Classification Code. It marks an important step in creating international classification opportunities and building golf’s pathway towards potential Paralympic inclusion.
