I cried watching this.
Yesterday, the town of Houla in Southern Lebanon was bombed. The residents inside and on the edge of the occupation line have had their entires lives destroyed.
They live under constant fear that at any moment, they could be killed, and yet many choose to stay and to carry on with life because their home is their heart and they would never dare to abandon it.

Operating in ‘get s**t done’ mode my whole life led to developing a chronic mould illness that crushed me. I fought it with ignorance for 7 years until it finally got me.
I spent 2 years dealing with chronic fatigue, body aches, IBS, constant nightmares and cold sweats in bed.
Only when I learnt to listen to my body and to stop trying to PUSH THROUGH everything did I start to recover.
It was a big lesson in awareness of where I learnt that pattern of pushing until I can’t put no more. A very valuable skill for persevering, and also sometimes the path of least resistance is the right path.
