📈 End of Season check-in 📈

The season is officially done and dusted with both squads improving in points collected and table position from last season! ✅

Our Reserve Team had a great season finishing 4th. They can be proud of their efforts with more wins than losses this year, and there's definitely a good foundation to build on in 2027. Match to remember: Round 1 vs Adelaide Dragon 2-1 WIN - Our first ever win for our reserves 🫶

Our First Team DIDN'T FINISH LAST! 😅 Despite all the problems faced through the year, the playing group hung tight, fought hard, and had a better season than 2025. Like our Reserves, they will have some positives to take from the season and improve further in 2027. Match to remember: Round 4 vs BiH United 4-2 WIN - The lads fought back from 2-0 down to win it convincingly 👊

With the offseason upon us, the club will be looking to build on the positives, fix the problems, and actively recruit to strengthen our squads.

C'mon you Tigers!

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Pawel Stawiarz (Proudly Sponsored by Amber Catering). A silent assassin, who has silky skills, and is hard in the tackle. Here’s what we found out about Pawel. 👀

⏱️ FULL TIME ⏱️

Our last matchday was an away day against Fizi FC, which saw only 21 players available. Credit to the entire group, they dug deep and put in effort that definitely shows what the club expects more of in 2027.

❌ Our First Team only had 9 fresh players defended well for the first half, only conceding a penalty with the last kick of the half. The 2nd half saw some silly mistakes punished. Credit to all the lads that played a full 90 in the Reserves to then back up at least 30mins in the First Team game.

❌ Our Reserve Team had an early (and serious) injury to Ben Noakes which forced changes that saw 4 players who had a combined match total of about 4 full games in 2026 playing out close to a full game. Aside from the immense effort, the other positive was keeping the second half to 0-0. We all hope Noaksey makes a speedy recovery 🙏 Also, congratulations to Fizi FC on winning the Reserves competition.

We may not have ended 2026 how we would have liked, but lessons have been learned by the players, coaches and the committee about what needs to be done in 2027. We look forward to celebrating our Presentation Night on Friday, October 16th.
