It’s a great chance for junior players to have a hit, learn some new skills, meet the coaches and other players, and see what being part of the Lizard family is all about!

The Longford cc are seeking expressions of interest for captains for the upcoming season 2026/27 men’s sides, as well as a captain and a coach for our women’s Team!

If you feel like this is something you’re willing to take on and can lead one of our amazing sides, please feel free to send your interest in a email to the email address pictured below!

Please note: If you are a junior player who will also be playing senior cricket, you only need to register as a junior player.

🦎 2026/27 CO-COACH ANNOUNCEMENT 🦎

The Longford Lizards are thrilled to announce Jack Whisker and Bryce Jose as our Co-Coaches for the 2026/27 season! 💚🏏

We’re excited to have the opportunity to pick the brains of two players who have both competed at a high standard and, more importantly, are outstanding club people who truly embody what the Lizards are all about.

Both enjoyed fantastic seasons with the bat and ball in 2025/26 despite missing a handful of games:

🏏 Bryce Jose
• 533 runs
• 9 wickets

🏏 Jack Whisker
• 385 runs
• 10 wickets

We’re looking forward to seeing the leadership, passion and experience these two bring to the group as we chase another successful season.
