What a fantastic day on the Hill on Saturday! So good to see a few old faces from the 90’s catching up, a couple of refreshing beverages and some mostly true stories from yesteryear. Still one of our favourites is Jamie Lynch and his 4 bounces (or was it 5?) down the wing all the way from the half back flank to the 50 metre line and slotting it through for the goal of the year. Even made it onto Almost Footy Legends!!
Winner of the inaugural Chickens Quiz was Clayton Kelly, with special mention to Nobby Pendlebury who scored a point even though he wasn’t a contestant. The great man Ernie Hug was in good form, but unfortunately couldn’t remember what number he wore in first game in 93 when he kicked a lazy 7 goals!! 🤣
