Safety isn’t the boring part of kitesurfing. It’s what gives you the confidence to really enjoy it. 🤙🌊
Learning to kite isn’t only about getting on the board.
It’s about understanding your equipment, knowing your safety systems, reading the conditions and knowing what to do when something doesn’t go to plan.
And yes, that’s also why you’ll see our students wearing helmets and impact vests during lessons.
A helmet helps protect your head from impacts, while a vest gives you extra flotation and protection when you’re in the water.
Because the more confident you are with the basics and your safety, the more freedom you have on the water. 💨
And with the new season getting closer, we’re currently planning some safety & refresher sessions!
When was the last time you actually practised a proper self-rescue? Or refreshed how to launch and land a kite safely?
Would you be keen to join us for a little pre-season refresh and head into summer feeling safe and confident on the water? 👀
Learn it properly. Stay protected. Have fun. 🤙

This is why we kite. 💙
It’s not just about learning how to ride, going higher or landing the next trick.
It’s the feeling you get when the wind kicks in.
The smile after your first few metres on the board.
The high fives on the beach.
The sessions that make you completely forget what time it is.
Kitesurfing has this incredible way of bringing people together .. different ages, different backgrounds, beginners and experienced riders, all sharing the same stoke.
And that’s exactly what we love about it.
At WA SURF, we don’t just want to teach you how to kite. We want you to discover the feeling that made all of us fall in love with this sport in the first place.
Because sometimes, happiness really is just 20 knots, a kite in the sky and good people around you. 🤙🌊
See you on the water.

Throwback to one of the last training sessions with Max!
Max was absolutely shredding by the end of his lessons; a great way to wrap up his training and head out riding confidently on his own! 🌊🪁
Bailey’s focus was on building confidence, safety, solid upwind skills and smooth transitions, making sure he had all the tools to stay safe and enjoy every session on the water.
Seeing our students reach that point is what it’s all about. We can’t wait to see you back out there, Max!
Right now, you’re still saving 10% on any lesson or package you book with us as part of our Early Bird Offer. Secure your spot for the season and let’s get you shredding too!

Happy Father’s Day 💙
Today, we celebrate the dads who make the adventure possible.
The dads who spend hours on the beach cheering from the sidelines.
The dads carrying gear, taking photos, offering advice, and somehow always being there when we need a rescue.
The dads who share the water with us, and the dads who simply sit on the shore with a smile, watching us do what we love.
And to the dads who have never flown a kite, stood on a board or stepped into the ocean themselves .. thank you too.
Because sometimes the greatest support doesn’t come from being part of the sport. It comes from encouraging someone else to follow their passion.
Thank you for the lifts to the beach, the phone calls checking if we made it home safely, the lessons in courage, resilience and hard work, and for always believing in us, even when our dreams seemed a little crazy.
Maybe this is the year you finally join us on the water.
Whether you’re sharing sessions with your kids or watching from the beach, there’s always room for one more adventure.
Happy Father’s Day to all fathers, grandfathers and father figures. We wouldn’t be where we are without you. 💙🌊
From the entire WASurf Team.
P.S. Dads who haven’t had their first lesson yet - we’re ready when you are. 🚀

This is a little Hi from Aggie & Kathi 💛⛵️
Some of you might already know us from previous seasons at WASurf, and for everyone else, we honestly can’t wait to meet you and share the water together soon.
The ocean and the wind have become such a huge part of our lives. Kitesurfing gave us freedom, adventure, unforgettable friendships and memories we’ll carry forever. There’s just something special about being out on the water: the energy, the challenge, the feeling of being completely present. It’s our playground, but also the place that keeps us grounded and makes us feel most alive.
For us, nothing is more rewarding than helping people progress in the sport whether it’s a first waterstart or reaching the next level in their riding. Watching students overcome challenges, build confidence and experience the excitement and freedom that kitesurfing brings is what drives us and keeps us passionate about teaching and coaching every single day.
But, we also want WASurf to be more than just lessons. A place full of energy, progression, salty adventures and good humans connected through the same love for the ocean and wind. A place where everyone feels welcome from complete beginners to experienced riders chasing their next challenge.
We’re beyond excited for this next chapter, for windy summer days, community events, sunset sessions and unforgettable moments on the water with all of you.
Sending greetings from the Aussie Alps & the Baltic Sea and counting the days until we’re back home in WA 🐋🩵
