The Top Women’s Team will earn the opportunity to travel to Osaka, Japan 🇯🇵 to compete in the 3X3.EXE Playoffs alongside the Top Men’s Teams this October!

The Australian Gangurrus Women’s 3x3 Pro Team have maintained their winning streak, completing Day 1 of the Poitiers 3x3 Women’s Basketball | FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series in style. 🔥

Victories over Rapid 🇹🇩 (21–20) and Paris 🇫🇷 (20–13) secured top spot in their pool and a place in the Quarter Finals. 💪🇦🇺

🏆 A FIRST PLACE WIN FOR OUR AUSSIE WOMEN IN SUMGAIT //

After an impressive, history-making Silver Medal at the recent World Cup, we could feel that a title was on the horizon and our Australian Women’s team certainly did not disappoint at the Sumgait Women’s Series.

Our first Women’s Series title of 2026, and hopefully the beginning of many more to come. 💚💛

A performance to be proud of, and another exciting step forward for Australian 3x3 basketball.

The World Cup for 2026 has come to a close with a history making 2nd Place Silver 🥈 for our Women’s team 💛💚

An impressive 21–10 Quarter Final win over Ukraine, followed by an equally impressive 16–14 Semi Final victory against the defending champions, the Netherlands, saw our Aussies advance to the Grand Final.

Standing between them and gold was the USA, the only team to have beaten Australia during the World Cup pool rounds. 🥇🇦🇺

We knew it was going to be a nail-biter and our Aussies definitely dug deep with incredible grit, determination and passion to fight back and lead 20–19 with under 40 seconds remaining, before the USA knocked down a clutch two to edge out a dramatic 21–20 victory. 🇦🇺🏀

A shout out to the wider AUS crew, the behind the scenes team that push, mentor, train, care for and glue the whole experience & our Australian teams together - well done!

To you sure know how to put on a show! Well done on another amazing World Cup and to the commentators and always an absolute pleasure listening to you both! 🎙️
