We’re excited to officially welcome our new Black Diamond Mens Cup Head Coach, Rick, to the Maitland Saints! 👏

Rick is pictured here with our current Senior President, Hugh Matheson, as we look ahead to an exciting new chapter for the club.

Rick is inviting all players aged 16 and over — junior and senior, men and women — to join him for the commencement of pre-season training from the week of 9 November. 🏉💪

Whether you’re a returning player, new to the Saints, or looking to get back into footy, we’d love to see you there!

🏆💛❤️🖤 BACK TO BACK, TO BACK, TO BACK, TO BACK!!!! 🖤❤️💛🏆

It’s a HIGH FIVE for the U14 Saints Girls on Grand Final Day! ✋🏆

What a day our girls had at the Hunter Central Coast AFL Finals, held at Warners Bay on Sunday!

Starting strongly in the first quarter, the girls built a handy lead before Warners Bay responded strongly in the second to match the Saints.

Cheered on by an overwhelming sideline of Saints support, the girls found another gear in the second half and began to roll, running away 71–21 winners to claim the 2026 Premiership! 🏆🎉

This was the icing on the cake for the girls, who also claimed the Minor Premiership during the regular season. What an incredible season! 👏

⭐ Congratulations to Scarlett Crouch, who was awarded Best on Ground for her outstanding Grand Final performance!

A massive thank you to all the Saints families and supporters who showed up and cheered the girls on. You guys rocked the house down! 💪💪💪

What a day for our girls! 💛🖤❤️

Our YG U14s are GRAND FINAL WINNERS! 🏆🙌

A huge congratulations to the girls on an incredible effort to get the job done today! Special congratulations to Scarlett Crouch, who was named Best on Ground in the U14s Grand Final. ⭐️

Our boys’ U16s fought right until the final siren, but unfortunately went down in a fantastic contest. A massive effort from the boys, with Beau James Kinross named Best on Ground for the U16s. 👏

We’ll have plenty more photos and a full official Grand Final post coming soon — but for now…

Both teams have worked incredibly hard all season and now it’s time to get behind them for the biggest games of the year!

Get down to Feighan Oval, bring the noise and show your support! We’re encouraging everyone to wear yellow or your Saints gear and turn the ground into a sea of Saints colours.

Before we look ahead to Sunday, we also want to congratulate our Under 16 Girls and Under 18 Boys on fantastic seasons.

Both teams fell short in their finals games last week, narrowly missing out on a place in the Grand Final. While it wasn’t the result they were hoping for, reaching the final stages of the season is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work, commitment and effort shown throughout the year.

A huge congratulations to both teams on a successful 2026 season. You should all be incredibly proud of what you have achieved! 💛❤️🖤
