Join us at Roxby Community Library for a live stream author talk with bestselling author, Pip Williams, presented from Burnside Library.

Set against the backdrop of World War I, this captivating historical novel weaves together a forbidden love story, the power of art, and a century-old mystery. Richly researched and beautifully written, The German Ward is a moving exploration of love, resilience, and the stories history forgets.

Everyone is welcome, we look forward to seeing you there.

Holy smackeroos, it’s been a big month behind the scenes at Roxby Link! 👀

Council is getting stuck into issues that have needed attention for a long time, with major work underway in both the Dunes Café and kiosk kitchens. Our kitchen teams and cooks are especially excited about the new installations taking shape. We can’t wait to see what they’ll be able to create in these spaces!

We’re also making the most of the lead-up to summer to tackle the stadium renovations. We know how valuable an air-conditioned indoor space is in Roxby’s warmer months, especially when basketball season rolls around. Now’s the time to get in and get the work done but in the meantime, Stadium availability may change as works continue.

Over in the crèche, we’ve removed a wall to open up the space. It already has a lovely new feel, with more room and better visibility for staff.

And our team has been busy learning, too! They’ve been undertaking lifeguard, swim, first aid and fire warden training, ready for the busy months ahead.

There’s a lot happening at once, and we know it can feel a little disruptive. But we’re excited about what these improvements will mean for Roxby Link: more reliable facilities, well-trained staff and a fresh energy to share with our community.

Schools out Roxby!!!! Weehoo!! It’s sunny, it’s warm, the kids deserve a treat and you need a break!
Get to the kiosk to stock up on the supplies, grab some ice creams and get the kids to the splash pad. That ought to buy you at least a 20minute breather and a perfect way to kick the holidays off for the kids, they can run their crazies off and celebrate!
