It's Wednesday and that means training tonight, and another entry in our 2026 Player Profile series.

Offensive Line veteran Michael Bayne started in 2019, being the anchor of our offensive line for 7 seasons.

"The great thing about American Football is that even if you're unfit and can't run, there's a spot on the field for you."

So, any big dogs out there thinking that there's no sports for you, think again. Come out to training tonight, or any Monday or Wednesday, 6:30pm at Rosewater, and find out if you have what it takes to be a Spartan.

Our Women's Flag Football training is starting TONIGHT!

We're excited to get things started for the inaugural American Football SA 2026 Women's Flag Football competition.

So whether you're aged 14, 49 or any age between or above, come down to Rosewater and have a crack at flag football. It's fast and fun and great for new players to the sport.

2026 Player Profile 🏈

Muzza is entering his second year with the Spartans, and good things are coming because his first year was something special. Murray hit the ground running, logging reps at RB and LB, in his debut season.

For anyone thinking about trying it out, Murray says "you should give it a try because it’s very fun and challenges you mentally and physically".

Training Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30pm, Rosewater.

Bring your footy boots and have a crack.

We're pleased to announce George Howard as our Juniors Head Coach for the 2026 season.

George steps up to lead our next generation of Spartans. A key part of our Seniors defence, George brings a calm head and a passion for the game that will influence our young superstars.

We're training tonight and that means our Player Profile series is back!

Next up is one of our more experienced Senior players, Naythan Plamer. Yayth came up through the ranks for the Juniors, and since making his way onto the Seniors team has played in almost every position on the field.

His simple message to anyone thinking about playing is "Just do it". So, what are you waiting for? It's time to find out if you have what it takes to be a Spartan.
